Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are always welcome.
If we do have a wait, the host will quote you the wait time and text you when the table is ready. You will have 15 minutes to get back to the restaurant from your walk along the lake.

 

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations are available online through TBDine.
If you don’t see availability for your group size, please try another date.
For groups of 10+, email ahoy@bronteboathouse.ca.

  • Maximum reservation size: 10 guests
  • Reservation duration: 90 minutes for 2–4 guests, 120 minutes for 5+
  • Time limits do not apply to bookings at 8pm or later
  • You may select patio or indoor dining when booking; if one is full, only the other will appear
  • We cannot move reservations between patio/indoor
  • Patio bookings are weather-dependent; if the patio closes due to weather, patio reservations are cancelled and do not transfer indoors
  • Patio seating is exposed to the elements—we cannot guarantee shade
  • Please note accessibility needs in your reservation request
  • Strollers must remain in our designated stroller area; all children and infants must be counted in your party size

 

How long is my reservation?

2–4 guests: 90 minutes
5+ guests: 120 minutes
Reservations at 8pm or later have no time limit.

 

Do you accommodate seating preferences?

We do our best, but specific tables—including patio requests—cannot be guaranteed.

 

Do you offer complimentary desserts for special occasions?

We do not offer complimentary desserts, but we have a full dessert menu available. Please let us know about your celebration so our team can acknowledge it.

 

Can I call or DM you on Instagram to book?

No. Reservations must be made online at bronteboathouse.ca.

Please note: We do not regularly monitor phone calls.

 

Who do I contact for employment, media, partnerships, events, or special requests?

Please email ahoy@bronteboathouse.ca, and your message will be directed to the appropriate person.

 

How do I change or cancel my reservation?

Please modify or cancel your reservation directly through TBDine.
This includes notes about allergies or dietary needs.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations should be made at least 72 hours in advance.

 

Can I book a large group?

Online reservations are available for up to 10 guests.
For groups larger than 10—or for buyouts—email ahoy@bronteboathouse.ca.
Separate reservations cannot be combined.
All children and infants must be counted in your total party size.

 

Where can I find information about corporate events, special events, or weddings?

We host group events in our second-floor event spaces.

Can you accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions?

We will always do our best to support guests with dietary needs.
However, our kitchen uses a wide range of ingredients—such as nuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, and shellfish—and cross-contamination is possible.
We cannot guarantee allergen-free meals.

To help us serve you safely:

  • Inform your server of any allergies before ordering
  • Our team can guide you through suitable options. We have GF pasta available.
  • Please understand that we cannot ensure zero-allergen dishes
